UK shoppers shrug off inflation pressure as sun comes out

It was good news for the beleaguered fashion sector. Year-on-year, textile, clothing and footwear stores saw sales volumes up 5.1 percent and values rising 7.5 percent, the latter figure boosted by inflation.
